Areas of Ministry: Oversees the worship ministry (plans and leads worship; directs the Worship Choir, Senior High Choir, Youth and Adult Handbell Choirs; manages the Middle School Choir and the Graded Choir program)
Family: Maria and I have been married for 18 years. We have one daughter, Karis Marie.
Saved: I grew up in a Pastor’s home and made a decision when I was seven years old. I didn’t really understand the magnitude of this commitment until I was 19 years old. At 19, I gave my life to Christ whole-heartedly and have trusted and followed Him ever since.
Education: Attended Baylor University my freshmen year and then transferred to Lenoir-Rhyne College (now Lenoir-Rhyne University).Graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne in 1983, and then went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Graduated from Southwestern in 1987.
Work: Fulltime music ministry for 24 years. Minister of Music and Youth at Central Baptist Church in Hickory, NC as for almost 7 seven years. Associate Pastor for Music/Worship at Salem Baptist Church for over 16 years.
