Areas of Ministry: Oversees all youth ministry from 7th – 12th grade and college ministry. My primary focus however is on Middle School grades 6 – 8.
Family: Sandra and I were married on July 27, 1991. We have four children….Morgan, Isaac, Caroline, and Lydia.
Saved: I grew up in a home where my parents did not go to church but my grandmother who lived next door went every time the doors were opened. Between my grandma and her sisters I was in church a lot of the time growing up. I gave my heart to Jesus when I was 15 years old. I was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton on July 23, 1983. While in college I felt a call to go into full time youth ministry. God is good all the time and serving Him is the greatest decision I have ever made.
Education: I graduated from Littlefield High School in 1985; Campbell University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1989; I graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1992.
Previous Lines of Work: In High School I grew up on a farm so I did farm work especially working in tobacco. I worked part time at Boise Cascade Corp. making corrugated containers. I worked in the cafeteria at Campbell University for 4 years. I drove a school bus. I worked part time for UPS unloading trucks. I have served in four churches as the full time Minister to youth, children, and education including Cowee Baptist, Franklin, Tabernacle Baptist New Bern, FBC Winder GA, and Salem Baptist Apex.
