At Salem Baptist we believe that even at a young age, children can begin a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. We teach basic biblical truths at a level that they can understand in a safe and loving environment.
Nursery (birth through 23-months)
Babies grow fast so we have three different rooms for them as they grow and develop. As they mature they are moved to a new room with age-appropriate toys and furnishings to meet their new abilities and needs. We strive to make your baby as comfortable as possible and encourage you to keep us updated with specific care instructions so that we can better meet yours and your babies needs.
Preschool (two years through PreK)
9:45 - Bible Fellowship Groups (Sunday School) classes are offered for each age group during this time. They each feature age-appropriate Bible lessons, crafts and activities. to nurture the knowledge and love of God in your child at a level that they can understand.
11:00 - Wee Worship is our special worship service just for our preschoolers. The children come together for a time of motion-filled songs, puppets, a Bible lesson, and much more designed to reinforce the lesson the children have already learned in Sunday School. Wee Worship lasts for an appropriate length of time for their age, and the rest of the time is filled with activities, playground time, or free play in their individual classrooms. Children will be picked up in the same classroom they were dropped off at.
