Subscribe to the Men's Ministry email list below for occasional informational updates and upcoming events. Current discipleship classes, events, or opportunities to get involved or serve will be listed here on this page, or you may visit Salem's upcoming events page. Join us for our men’s breakfast on Saturday, January 26 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. It’s a terrible occasion for men who hate breakfast. BUT, if you like food, a great speaker, and connecting with other men at Salem, don’t miss this! Our speaker will be Tim Stevens, who was a sports writer for the News and Observer for 48 years. Tim will share from his experiences and how he serves the community. Click here to sign up!
- Men's Discipleship Class
Tuesdays at 6:00 AM in A20, Led by Nick Sennert
This study group meets year-round on Tuesday mornings from 6:00 – 7:00 am, starting and ending promptly. We spend the first part of our time sharing prayer requests and praying together, and the last 30 – 40 minutes are spent studying the Word in a conversational manner leading to personal application. For more information, please contact Nick Sennert.
Salem currently offers men's basketball and softball leagues as well as an annual golf retreat weekend. Learn more about each and sign up for open seasons on our Sports Ministry page.
- BASKETBALL: Salem men's basketball winter league is open to all guys 9th grade and up who are Salem members or attenders. The purpose of the league is to build fellowship, have some fun and get some exercise. It is also a great way for Salem guys to invite non-Salem friends to come and experience our fellowship. In addition to the league, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon, Salem hosts a lunchtime pick-up game in the Multi-Purpose Room which is open to all Salem members and attenders. Learn more.
- SOFTBALL: Salem enters two softball teams in the local spring leagues in either the Town of Apex or Town of Cary Church Softball Leagues from March – May. Spring league softball is a great way to meet other men at Salem! Learn more.
