What is MOPS?

Mothers of Preschoolers is an international organization for mothers of infants to kindergarteners. MOPS provides a fun and friendly place for mothers to relax, encourage, and learn from one another. We seek to meet the unique needs of mothers during those preschool years. Learn more about MOPS International.

What do we do at MOPS?

At Salem MOPS, moms enjoy brunch, adult conversation, and speakers. Each meeting provides opportunities to connect with other mothers during our small group discussion time. Unique to MOPS, our Mentor Moms are a treasure trove of wisdom, support, and encouragement for our members. Occasionally, we complete a fun and easy creative activity.

How much does it cost?

MOPS International registration is just $24.95 once a year (includes Hello, Darling magazine subscription and weekly emails). Additionally, we charge local dues each semester to help cover various costs. Our MOPS fees are $20 per semester (fall and spring). MOPPETS (childcare) is available for an additional $15 per child ($30 max per family) per semester.

When and where do we meet?

Meetings begin in September and continue through May. We meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays in the Media Center on the second floor of Building C. MOPPETS check-in is at 9:30 am and meetings are from 9:45 – 11:30 am. The 2014–2015 Salem MOPS year begins September 8. Registration opens August 1. Download a registration brochure.
