MOPS and MomsTogether


MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a program designed for mothers with children under school age. The goal of MOPS International is to nurture every mom of preschoolers. All mothers of infants through kindergarteners are invited to MOPS. We meet during the school year, September – May, and enjoy great food, fun, fellowship, crafts and speakers geared toward the needs of mothers. It’s a time of great support and encouragement with other mothers just like you!

Meetings

Salem MOPS meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month from 9:30 – 11:15 am in the Media Center, Building C, second floor. MOPPETS drop-off is at 9:15. In addition to our regular meetings, Salem MOPS offers social activities, a well-stocked lending library, food at every meeting, and childcare. Moms also benefit from our Mentor Mom, who spends time encouraging and supporting all of our mothers. The first meeting this year is September 9.

How Much Does It Cost?

MOPS International registration is $23.95 once a year. In addition, we charge local dues each semester to help cover the costs of crafts and hospitality supplies. The MOPS fees are $15 per semester (fall and spring). MOPPETS (childcare) is available for an additional $15 per child ($30 max per family) per semester.

MomsTogether was created to encourage, equip, and develop mothers of school-age kids. At MomsTogether meetings, you will connect, learn, and grow with other moms of school-agers, hear great speakers on relevant topics, find mentor and prayer support, and hear about opportunities to serve our community alongside other moms, in order to grow in our relationships with Christ.

Meetings

NEXT MEETING: Wednesday, May 7, 9:30 – 10:45 am. Our final meeting for the year will be an in-home brunch (the coordinator will send out address information prior to the meeting). Join us for a great time of fellowship as we wrap up the year and talk about what's to come in the fall.

MomsTogether meets (mostly) the first Wednesday of each month, September through May. We meet in the Café located inside the main entrance to the church, in Building D, from 9:15 – 10:45 am. Remaining meeting date for the spring semester is May 7.

How much does it cost?

MomsTogether fees are $10 per semester (fall and spring). If you need childcare for a preschool-age child, please let us know on the registration form and we will let you know of the fee once we know how many children will be needing care. If you need childcare for kids who are tracked out of year round school, please indicate the months you need childcare on the form as well.
