Marsha Snyder
Marsha is a native of North Carolina and grew up in Fuquay-Springs (that would be Fuquay Varina for those of you who were not born here). Marsha and her husband, Kent, their two children and son in law are all WOLFPACK Alumni (her granddaughter doesn’t have a chance to go anywhere else). Raised in a Christian home and growing up in Fuquay Baptist, Marsha was led to the Lord by her “sweet” pastor at the age of 13. At the age of nine her father was killed in a car accident, and she thought that the man that came to tell her mom was the Lord, because her mom kept calling him "lord”. He was a very tall man with white hair. She realized much later that the man’s name was Lloyd. Her faith was tested, when at the age of 18, she lost her mother in a car accident, but she always knew that God would never let her go. Her favorite verses are Romans 8:28 “All things work to the good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose” and Proverbs 3:5&6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your path straight”. Marsha has been the Salem Weekday Preschool Director for the last 15 years. She keeps herself busy reading, writing, cooking, scrap booking, jewelry making, decorating, smocking and sewing. One of her favorite places to shop is Trader Joes, because she can get good healthy food to take home and she doesn’t have to cook. You may email Marsha at msnyder@salem-bc.org. |
