Mission Apex

WestHaven ministry of Salem Baptist Church provides three opportunities to serve:

• Kids Club
• Teens Club
• ESL

These opportunities provide evangelistic outreach to families living in multi-housing facilities.

Few people who live in a multi-housing setting attend a local church. Due to many factors, it is impractical to expect those living in these complexes to go to church just by inviting them. We must bring "church" to them by presenting the gospel in a unique way.

Through reaching the children with sports activities, music, crafts and Bible stories, we are able to then minister to other family members. ESL classes have been started, as well as other means of meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the community. Consider praying what your part could be in this effective ministry. Do you have musical talents? Can you do crafts? Game activities? Or just lend a hand!

Volunteering once a month. or even just when you can, would be a GREAT help.
